Terry Day
Chairman
Terry started his career as a trainee computer programmer at Hill Samuel in 1968. In 1972 he joined Kingsley Smith and Associates (subsequently BIS and then Misys) as a Senior Systems Architect where he played a pivotal role in the creation of one of the most successful banking packages of its time – MIDAS. Terry then moved to become the International Data Processing Manager for a major European bank where he held responsibility for all systems outside of the home country. At the bank Terry designed, and wrote, Modular Banking System which was successfully resold around the world by Arthur Andersen on the bank’s behalf. Terry left the bank in 1983 to set up what is now known as International Financial Systems.
Matthew Day
Managing Director
Matthew’s career began as a foreign exchange trader with the English merchant bank Kleinwort Benson. He joined the company in 1992, and has since worked with clients and consultants on new and existing implementations. Matthew promotes the company on a worldwide basis, and works with our agents and distributors as necessary. Matthew has an extensive knowledge of banking and anti-money laundering practices.
Mike Da Silva
Technical Director
After graduating from Manchester University in 1991 with a degree in computer sciences, Mike joined the company, then Criterion Banking Software. Mike has progressed through the company from Junior Programmer to become Technical Director. Mike oversees all of International Financial Systems’ development and strategic development, but still relishes the opportunity to create innovative new solutions.
Tom Hegarty
Professional Services Manager
Tom spent 27 years at the bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi before joining the company to lead our professional services division. Tom has an excellent understanding of banking and is a trained Prince2 project manager. He has the necessary skills and expertise required to successfully implement software installation and configuration for our clients. Coupled with excellent communication skills and a reliable approach Tom is key to the smooth implementation of all our solutions.
